A pair of layout drawings from the Warner Bros. Studio production "Batman: The Animated Series" (1992-2001). Featuring Batman and Robin watching the Joker's terrifying antics on a television screen, the graphite layout drawings were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The imagery was created for the second episode of season one, titled "Christmas with the Joker," which aired on November 13, 1992. The pivotal episode introduced the Joker in the series. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 8.5"x9.5", the drawings are in very good condition with minor discoloration, light graphite smudging, edge and corner wear, including creasing at the bottom left corner, and spots of staining.
