X-Men Red Dawn Matching Jubilee Production Cel and Background (1993) - ID: jul24050

A multi-layered matching production cel and background from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring an overhead shot of Jubilee through a convenience store, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. Both the cel and background are actual frames of animation that were photographed and appear in the season two episode "Red Dawn," which aired on November 13, 1993. Measuring 10.25"x14.25" overall, with the character image measuring 2.5"x2.75", the piece is in very good condition. The cel displays minor scratches, surface wear, light line fade, and minimal paper transfer to the reverse of the paint from studio storage. The background shows light edge and corner wear and production-related tape adhering the background cel overlay to the background.
